A temporary exhibition centering around the four drivers who have the most wins at the Indy 500. Working with museum curators and specialists, a design was developed that utilized structural components which could be reused in future exhibitions. The overall aesthetic was intended to be clean and modern to allow for the cars, as well as the drivers’ suits and helmets, to be the focal points.
A STEM-based learning environment for both pre-k and kindergarten students.
The early childhood education staff at a Texas school district was looking to enrich their students with an exploratory, but guided, STEM-based learning experience. Their goal was to focus on tactile, hands-on education that improved the children's fine motor skills while also developing their literacy. Working with teachers and a Curriculum Design Specialist, a purposeful theme and individual interactives where designed and developed.
The Johnny Appleseed Education Center and Museum had moved in a new facility and were looking to update and redesign the museum. After doing an interpretive workshop, a full interpretive summary was developed and used as the roadmap for the new design.
• Preliminary ideation sketches for the IntelliZeum - an interactive children's museum, and part of the El Paso, Texas Head Start Program.
• The Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial 10 year anniversary exhibition - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A temporary display that showcased the impact of the bombing on individuals, and the stories of the survivors' lives over the ten years following the bombing.
• The West Virginia Battle Flag Museum - Wheeling, West Virginia. Designed to fit into a historic courthouse, the exhibition was a showcase of battle flags that had survived the Civil War, as well as a narrative of the role these flags played in battle.
